Redstone Install & Facelift

This project was a complete transformation. The homeowner had a dated woodburning fireplace that wasn’t just inefficient—it was also becoming a serious safety concern. She wanted something safer, cleaner, and more in line with her updated style.

We removed the original bulky stone surround and replaced it with sleek, modern stacked stone for a lighter, more contemporary look. A new floating mantle was custom-built to match the updated aesthetic, and we installed a high-efficiency electric fireplace insert—giving her the warmth and ambiance she loves, without the mess or worry of a traditional woodburning setup.

Because of the extensive demo and reconstruction involved, we took great care to protect her home and furniture throughout the process. The result is a fireplace that’s not only safer and easier to use year-round but also a beautiful new focal point for the space.
